Tester Reviews: Reviewer: Justin G., British Columbia, Canada My computer used for testing was: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ CPU 2GB Ram ATI Radeon HD 3850 I tested it on several games, but mainly on EA's Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. I found the Cyberhand unit to be well suited for the play style of Mercenaries 2, its an open world third person shooter game. The unit was extremely comfortable, even after long play sessions. My fingers weren't as sore as they sometimes are when useing the standard keyboard. There is a slight learning curve to the Cyberhand unit, as with any new controller, but once you are accustomed to it's layout the Cyberhand feels more natural and you'll move more fluid throughout the virtual worlds. In my opnion the Cyberhand unit shines in the FPS and 3rd person shooter genres, but would also work effeciently for all sorts of games, from action-adventure to RTS. The model I used was an early prototype, so I can only imagine future models will have even faster response time. |
